Bill focuses on helping you to access different ways of internal knowing in order to come through experiences such as grief, loss, shame, relationship challenges, spiritual crisis, physical health issues and trauma; ultimately developing an original sense of self that may have been lost in the narrative or story of life. This original self is who you were meant to be, and it often requires identifying and removing survival strategies which may have worked for time but have now become a barrier to your ability to feel fully embodied, connected and whole.
His practice is influenced by an eclectic mix of Narrative Therapy, NARM (Neuro Affective Relational Model), ABFT (attachment-based family therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), TF-CBT and DBT skills.
Bill completed his M.Div. and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel and received his D.Min. through United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. He is happy to be working as an independent contractor under supervision at Serenity Circle Counseling. He conducts the majority of his sessions in person in our Isanti location; telehealth sessions may be available on an as needed basis.
Bill accepts Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medical Assistance, Health Partners, Medica, Medical Assistance, Optum, Preferred One, Ucare (not Ucare Fairview plans) insurances; as well as self pay (cash, check, credit/debit card).
