About Sydney

Sydney is a graduate-level counselor working under clinical supervision. She earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

With experience in community-based and crisis-focused settings, Sydney is deeply committed to compassionate, ethical, and client-centered care. She uses a strengths-based, eclectic approach, integrating evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, and tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Sydney views therapy as a steady source of support during life’s hardest moments, offering clarity and tools to help clients build resilience and move forward with confidence. She strives to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.

Outside of therapy, Sydney enjoys sunshine, tending to her plants, a good bowl of mac and cheese, and spending time with her pups.

Sydney is a clinical intern working under the supervision of Melinda Hix-Demulling, MA, LPCC.
