Melinda Hix-Demulling is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota who is passionate about supporting teens (ages 14+), adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. She works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including trauma and abuse, severe and persistent mental illness, and co-occurring conditions.

Melinda takes a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and honoring their unique experiences and strengths. She draws from evidence-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

In addition to her clinical work, Melinda is a board-approved supervisor and enjoys mentoring future therapists. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
