About Cheri

Cheri earned her Master’s degree in Adlerian Counseling and Therapy and is a pre-licensed clinician working toward full licensure under the clinical supervision of Deanna Austin. She brings a strong background in school-based mental health, supporting students in grades K–8 and their families with emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.

Her experience includes conducting special education evaluations, providing mental health support within IEP services, and offering school-based counseling focused on social-emotional skill development and student support. She has also helped students explore future planning, including college and career readiness. These experiences have given her a strong understanding of child development, family dynamics, and the challenges children, teens, and families may face.

Cheri enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families navigating concerns such as trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. She takes a warm, compassionate, and collaborative approach, meeting clients where they are and moving at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.

Cheri’s goal is to create a welcoming space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered as they build skills, gain insight, and move toward greater well-being.
