I love walking along side of individuals, couples, and families as they reach out for change, healing, and hope. I use a family systems perspective while working with people who have relationship, grief, trauma, pregnancy, adoption, anxiety, and depression issues. I have had training in crisis intervention, Brainspotting, and am a certified Prepare and Enrich facilitator. I use the Gottman Method Couples Therapy, having completed Level 1 Training.
Carol completed her post-graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Bethel Seminary, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and is happy to be working as an independent contractor at Serenity Circle Counseling. She works at the Isanti location and conducts the majority of her sessions via telehealth.
Carol has specialized training in Brainspotting, a form of therapy that uses specific eye positioning and bilateral auditory stimulation through the use of headphones for healing existing trauma.
